The Mage

True masters of the elements, the Mages across Telara draw raw energies from the planes to serve their purpose. Unlike many prior iterations, the Mage can tank, heal, and support as well as contribute damage. Melee combat or ranged combat makes no difference to the Mage. Powerful combatants in all forms of war, many denizens of Telara fear the power that the Mages of their world control.

Affliction Warlock

Frost Mage

Arcane Mage

Arbiter

The shield of the Mages, the Arbiter is a tanking soul for Mages that wish to break the mold. With passives that grants dodge, block, and guard based on primary and secondary stats, Mages also utilize a variety of shielding abilities that help them further mitigate damage. Arbiters also manage their charge resource gaining additional defensive capabilities. If you enjoyed the more non-traditional tank in Azeroth such as a Blood Death Knight, Brewmaster Monk, or Guardian Druid you may enjoy the Arbiter. The Arbiter is only available through the Dream Souls pack on the in-game store.

Cloromancer

The life Mage serves as a nature based healer. Similar to a Restoration Druid, the Chloromancer is effective at healing a group of their allies. Along with a battle rez, the Cholormancer is capable of healing through dealing damage and even converting damaging abilities from hostile mobs to heal the Mages' allies. The Cholormancer is a great addition to the toolkit available to the Mages.

Archon

As the support soul of the Mage, the Archon is a Mage who siphons energies and powers out of their enemies and channels them into their allies increasing damage dealt, healing done, and damage mitigation. Along with a Demonic Gateway ability the Archon has a Savage Roar ability that allows allies to escape an otherwise certain doom. The Archon also throws boulders and sand, what more could you want from a Mage? Elemental Shaman and Arcane Mages might enjoy the Archon soul.

Dominator

The control freak of the Mage souls, the Dominator is probably one of the most aggravating souls to run up against in PvP. Along with being able to Polymorph the Dominator can stun, snare, resource drain, Mass Spell Reflect, Spell Reflect, bubble, reduce resource regen, Mirror Image, AoE debilitate, and even hurt you just for hitting a key. An efficient Dominator is the bane of any Ascended. Unfortunately the Dominator is hard to translate into Azerothian terms, no such class or spec such as the Dominator has existed for a long time.

Harbinger

The Harbinger is the official battle-mage soul of Telara. With the ability to transform their weapons into a two-handed axe, sword, or scythe, the Harbinger does not hesititate to jump into the fray. Trained in abilities similar to Murder Spree, Blade Fury, Overpower, Charge, Shamanistic Rage, Hamstring, and Ascendance they never worry about if they can kill, only how many. Combat Rogues, Enhancement Shaman, and any Mage that has ever wanted a battle-mage spec will enjoy the Harbinger. The Harbinger soul is only available through the Storm Souls pack on the in-game store.

Elementalist

The Elementalist is the first of two pet summoning specs, they unleash the full force of the planes upon their victims. Able to shackle elementals to their will, the Elementalist can summon pets that tank, fight at melee or range, or cast crowd control abilities while they unleash a harmony of elemental death upon their enemies. Frost Mages and Elemental Shaman may enjoy the Elementalist.

Stormcaller

Necromancer

Exactly as their title suggests, the Stormcaller is a soul that focuses on heavy AoE damage. Elemental Shaman and Frost Mages who have dreamed of summoning lighting storms, hail storms, shooting off a ton of Chain Lightning abilities, and pulling with a Death Grip ability, this soul is for you.

The second pet summoning souls for the Mage, the Necromancer rejuvenates the dead to serve their purpose. Similar to the Elementalist, the Necromancer can summon pets that do melee damage, ranged damage, and tank. They also have their own version of Army of the Dead and can even transform themselves into a lich for a short period of time. Necromancers manage DoT abilities, debuffs, and stacks of Deathly Calling when they aren't possessing their undead pet. Anyone that enjoys Affliction Warlocks or Unholy Death Knights will enjoy the Necromancer.

Warlock

Pyromancer

Masters of the plane of Death, the Warlock watches their enemies rot and decay as they siphon the very essence of life out of their enemies. The Warlock soul manages a slew of DoT abilities, with each DoT working towards a different end the Warlock can heal themselves, increase their crit chance, or increase their damage output. They are also notorious for sacrificing their own life force to increase their damage output or regenerate mana faster. Any Warlocks from Azeroth, or Unholy Death Knights that aren't afraid to learn what it truly means to be a Warlock should investigate this deathly calling.

Fire Mages that didn't enjoy the idea of the Purifier will be happy to know that the Pyromancer is exactly as it sounds. A Mage harnessing energy straight from the plane of fire, Pyromancers come equipped with a full set of fire based abilities. Pyroblast, Flamestrike, Inferno Blast and even the instant Pyroblast are all here along with a disarm, Blink, bubble, channeled set of Fireballs, and a root. Pyromancer is an essential soul for Fire Mage fanatics.
